for victims of floods,
and captives of fears:
we pray, O Lord.

for those recovering from tsunamis,
and those healing from terror:
we pray, O Lord.

for children who have lost everything,
and for strangers who would give
them all that they need:
we pray, O Lord.

for those who tremble on beds in shelters,
and those who comfort them in the night:
we pray, O Lord.

Hear our prayers,
O Lord,
but especially
hear theirs.
